Insulation Inspection Report

This is non-invasive visual inspection of the insulation installed in the roof space of a building to identify fire hazards.

We check that the required clearances are provided between insulation and any heat generating objects in the roof space
of a building, i.e. ceiling lights, transformers, flues, etc., in accordance with Australian Standards AS/NZL 3000:2007
and AS/NZ 5601.1:2010.

Why get a Insulation Inspection Report?

Incorrectly installed insulation can cause lights, transformers and other heat generating equipment to ignite.

The report will advise you if there are any fire hazards in the roof space of a building created from incorrectly installed
insulation and what work is required to remove these hazards.

The report will advise you about areas of poorly installed insulation, where insulation has been omitted and what work is
required to rectify these areas.

Our Insulation Inspection Reports include the following:

Access: We contact the necessary people to arrange access to the property.

Verbal report: A verbal report is given to you on the day of the inspection.

Written report: A detailed written report containing photographs taken during the inspection is sent to you by email.

Estimates: Estimates on the cost of rectification of defects found during the inspection are included in the report when it is possible to do so.

Support: We are available to speak with you if you have any questions or require clarification on anything within the report.
